Lou Ella Kingston, 82, of Port Neches, died Monday, March 14, 2016. She was born on August 30, 1933, in Ville Platte, Louisiana, to Bellzi and Albert Barron.

Lou Ella was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and retired from Mid-Jeff Hospital.

Survivors include her children, Patsy Brewer and her husband, Mark; Gordon Kingston and his wife, Cindy; Phillip Kingston and his wife, Susan; sisters, Juanita Vidrine and her husband, Rollins; MaryLynne McDaniel and her husband, Harry; Barrel Sabastine; and Yvonne Schuff and her husband, Tony; brothers, Terry Barron and his wife, Katherine and Ricky Barron and his wife, Yvonne; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Kingston; daughter, Debbie Stewart; son, Max Kingston; sister, Jessie Barron; and brother, Dalvin Barron.

A gathering of Mrs. Kingston family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with her Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
