Truman Ray Ward 
August 14, 1939 - March 8, 2016

Truman Ray Ward, 76, of Silsbee, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016.  He was born on August 14, 1939, in Silsbee, to Ruby and Sim Ward.  Truman served his country as a United States Marine and later worked as a security guard.

 Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ward; children, Terry Ward and his wife, Wendy, of Pennington, New Jersey; and Tamela Ward of Galveston; grandchildren, Adam Stinnett and his wife, Aarynn, of French Settlement, Louisiana; Michael Stinnett and his fiancée, Toni, and Teia Stinnett, all of Silsbee; and Max Ward and Piper Ward of Pennington, New Jersey; great-grandchildren, Trent Faulconer, Lilly Stinnett, and Skylar Brown; and brothers, James Ward and his wife, Mary, of Fred, and Robert Ward and his wife, Laurel, of Silsbee.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

 A gathering of Mr. Ward’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with his interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
