Frances Jane Roth, 81, of Kountze, died Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Kountze Nursing Center, Kountze.  She was born on April 22, 1934, in Segno, to Lucy Williford Wiggins and James C. Wiggins.  Frances retired as a convenience store clerk.

Survivors include her children, Lanny Cain and his wife, Mary Ann, of Kountze; Richard Roth and his wife, Betty, of Winnie; Ronald Roth and his wife, Melinda Jo, of Kountze; and Melinda Goff and her husband, Elvis, of Kountze; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, J.W. Wiggins of Segno; and special friend, Priscilla Richardson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin Roth; brothers, Marvin and J.C. Wiggins; sister, Virgie Simmons; and grandchildren, Krystle Roth, Melissa Roth, and Ronald Roth, Jr.

A gathering of Mrs. Roth's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, 3016, at Broussard's, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Broussard's, with her interment to follow at William Hart Cemetery, Kountze.
