Ralph David Davis, 61, of Pointblank, died Thursday, February 25, 2016, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Houston. He was born on August 28, 1954, in Kountze, to Josie Laird and Edward “Joe” Lawrence Davis. Ralph was the AF and AM Master Mason of Pine Lodge #642 and retired as a lab tech from Chevron.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Davis; son, Kyle David Davis and his wife, Hallie; grandchildren, Matthew Courts, Hannah Courts, Kory Davis, Quinton Chessher, Maddox Davis, all of Pointblank; sisters, Esta Cain and her husband, Eldon; Wilma “Wimpy” Wimer, both of Kountze; brothers, John Davis and his wife, Barbara, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and Jerry Davis and his wife, Lynda, of Kountze.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward Luther Davis, Shorty Laverne Davis, Leonard Carlton Davis; and granddaughter, Madigan Davis.

A gathering of Mr. Davis’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2016, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Hooks Cemetery, Kountze.
