John Rizzato 
December 10, 1941 - February 13, 2016

John Rizzato, 74, of Lumberton, died Saturday, February 13, 2016.  He was born on December 10, 1941, in Beaumont, to Ann Margaret and Peter Gerard Rizzato, Sr.  John was a United States Army veteran and retired from Eastham Forge after fifty years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Rizzato; children, Cynthia “Cindy” Rizzato of Cypress; John Marlon Rizzato and his wife, Cari, of Beaumont; and Michael Rizzato of Forney; brother, Charlie Rizzato of China; sisters, Sandra Rizzato of Beaumont, Dianne Miller of Lumberton, Patricia Rizzato of China, and Stella Stephens of Beaumont; grandchildren, John Cook, Joshua Hoelker, and Marilyn Rizzato; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Pete Rizzato, Jr.

A gathering of Mr. Rizzato’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Broussard’s with his interment to follow at 2:30 p.m., at Concord Cemetery, Zavalla.
