Cedric Reginald “Reggie” Watler, 64, of Kountze, died at his home surrounded by his family, Sunday, January 24, 2016. He was born on May 14, 1951, to Anita Beatrice Dixon and Cedric Hilman Watler, in Beaumont.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-four years, Connie Watler; children, Brandon, Niki, Tracy, Stacy, Joey, and Lori, along with their spouses; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Sue Jacobson.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Betsy and Anita.

A gathering of Mr. Watler’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. with his memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
