Elisa "Lisa" Fertitta Glanzman
June 18, 1960 - January 11, 2016

Elisa “Lisa” Fertitta Glanzman, 55, of Wimberley, died Monday, January 11, 2016. She was born on June 18, 1960, in Beaumont, to Anthony and Iva Ray Baden Fertitta.

Lisa was a graduate of Lamar University having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies where she applied that knowledge with several law firms. She then embarked on a long and successful career as a stenographer where she was state and nationally certified. Her work and commitments were of the highest professional standards, ethics, and reliability. Lisa was known for her smile and laugh; everyone knew when she was in the room and that will be sorely missed. She was deeply spiritual and walked the path of Jesus. In her personal and professional life, she was comfortable engaging in conversation with anyone, from CEO’s, to hourly employees, to the unknown person at the grocery store. She treated everyone with respect and made them feel like a friend.

Lisa lived life to the fullest and there was not one person who ever met or knew her that was not taken in by her zest for life. She especially enjoyed visits to New York City, was the favorite aunt among many of her nieces and nephews, and an outstanding cook who loved watching the food network. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to celebrate her life are her husband of nearly thirty years, Scott Glanzman; her faithful cat, Max; siblings, Jane Brent, Tony Fertitta and his wife, Susan; Lettie Weaver and her husband, David; June Mittelstaedt and her husband, Art; Bill Fertitta and his wife, Carla; Jerry Fertitta and his wife, Pat; Therese Allen and her husband, John; Mary Doyen and her husband, Danny; and Cindy Edmiston and her husband, Rick; a host of nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews; lifetime friends, Cindy Derouen Simmons, Tracy Bean Davis, and Roxie Chowning.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Thursday, January 14, 2016, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2715 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
