Elisa “Lisa” Fertitta
Glanzman, 55, of Wimberley, died Monday, January 11,
2016. She was born on June 18, 1960, in Beaumont, to Anthony and Iva Ray Baden
Fertitta.
Lisa was a graduate of
Lamar University having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies where
she applied that knowledge with several law firms. She then embarked on a long
and successful career as a stenographer where she was state and nationally
certified. Her work and commitments were of the highest professional standards,
ethics, and reliability. Lisa was known for her smile and laugh; everyone knew
when she was in the room and that will be sorely missed. She was deeply
spiritual and walked the path of Jesus. In her personal and professional life,
she was comfortable engaging in conversation with anyone, from CEO’s, to hourly
employees, to the unknown person at the grocery store. She treated everyone
with respect and made them feel like a friend.
Lisa lived life to the
fullest and there was not one person who ever met or knew her that was not
taken in by her zest for life. She especially enjoyed visits to New York City, was
the favorite aunt among many of her nieces and nephews, and an outstanding cook
who loved watching the food network. She will be deeply missed by all who knew
and loved her.
She was preceded in
death by her parents.
Left to celebrate her
life are her husband of nearly thirty years, Scott Glanzman; her faithful cat,
Max; siblings, Jane Brent, Tony Fertitta and his wife, Susan; Lettie Weaver and
her husband, David; June Mittelstaedt and her husband, Art; Bill Fertitta and
