James “Jimmy” Earl Livingston, 60, of Vidor, died Friday, January 1, 2016. He was born on January 24, 1955, in Beaumont, and had been a lifelong resident of the area.

Jimmy enjoyed making people laugh. He loved Chevy trucks, the beach, and could fix anything. Jimmy especially loved his grandchildren. He helped anyone that needed help.

Survivors include his son, Jay Livingston and his wife, Kristen, of Vidor; daughter, Angela Livingston of Vidor; grandchildren, Greyson Livingston and Sebastian Y’Barbo, Jr.; companion, Sharon Bourgeois; sisters, Delores Wilcox and her husband, Thomas, of Vidor; Glenda Gutierrez and Dixie Ferguson of Beaumont; and Cathy Knoblock of Vidor; brother, John Adams and his wife, Julia, of California; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Boutte; brother, Jerry Boutte; sisters, Annette Lopez, Linda Whitehead, Liz Boutte, and Patricia Revia and her husband, Henry.

A graveside service for Mr. Livingston will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview Cemetery Road, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
