Jerry Lamar Norman, 54, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was born on February 14, 1961, to Lera Hill Norman and Marvin Norman in Beaumont. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, LeAn Norman; children, Melanie Daniels and her husband, Brandon, of Port Arthur; Amanda Desai and her husband, Kirtan, of Waxhaw, North Carolina; Jill Waldrep and her husband, Kristopher, of Beaumont; and Lacey Atkins of Cypress; grandchildren, Jaysa Daniels, Chyna Daniels, Julian Daniels, Jenna Daniels, Desireé Gussman, Kalli Desai, Ava Desai, and Drake Waldrep; great-grandchild, Camillia Gussman; brother, Eddie Norman of Fannett; and sister, Pat Hester of Cleveland.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Tommy Norman; and sister, Sandra Norton.

A gathering of Mr. Norman’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 1, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Christian Fellowship Worship Center, 3950 Pointe Parkway, Beaumont, with interment to follow at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery, Silsbee.
