Norma suffered from a long term illness, but while the illness may have consumed her it did not define her. She loved big. While just 16 years old, she met and loved a young boy named Hermie for the rest of their lives together, sunshine or rain, good times or bad. She was her mother’s caregiver for six years while still being a wife to Hermie and mother to Jason, Leah, and Sara. Relationships mattered to her and she was very deliberate about building them with her family, especially her children, their spouses, and grandchildren.

When she wedded Hermie, she chose to be a part of his family. She was a daughter to Shelby and Delores Bundick, a sister to Jeffery and Lydia Bundick, Jada and Mike Kamp, Karen and Keith Glidden, and Darlene Bundick.

She loved her two sisters, LaNell and Dolly, and enjoyed spending time with them especially on their sister trips.

She was Aunt Norma to all her nieces and nephews from both sides of the family, and she loved them dearly.

Norma loved the Lord and served Him faithfully. While service at Amelia Baptist Church, she was very active with the youth and was known as “Mom” to the entire youth group. She was genuine and very approachable to everyone and many sought her wise and healing cousel.

Her warmth, humor, and presence will be greatly missed.
