Tommy “Sugg” Carlson, 75, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, December 15, 2015. He was born in Tyler, Texas, on June 17, 1940, to Roger and Ruby Carlson. Sugg retired as a process operator from BASF.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Wadine Carlson; children, Richard Carlson and his wife, Annette, and their daughters, Avery, Heidi, and Katie, of Beaumont; and Denege Trail and her husband, Burke, and their daughter, Margaux, of China.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Neill Carlson.

A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, with a Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2015, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church. His interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. Services are under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
