Mary Fred Quartararo passed away Saturday, December
12, 2015 at the age of 101. She was born on December 2, 1914 in Salem, Arkansas.
Mary was a forty-six year resident of Beaumont and the wife of Vincent J.
Quartararo.
Mrs. Quartararo was a loving mother, grandmother,
and an exceptional cook. Her genuine interest in family and friends reflected
her caring nature and was evident throughout her many long lasting friendships.
Mary was also a courageous breast cancer survivor and a member of the Catholic
Knights of the Holy Sepulcher.
She is survived by children, Marilyn Kay Hungerford;
Laura Jane Clepper and her husband, Joe; and Vincent J “Buddy”
Quartararo; grandchildren, Jeremy J Shaw; Jeff Simmons and his wife, Jen; Brad
Simmons and his wife, Meg; and Joey Clepper; great-grandchildren, Logan Shaw,
Jack Simmons, Andrew Simmons, Maya
Simmons, Avery Simmons; and numerous
nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent J.
Quartararo and daughter, Elizabeth Ann Simmons.
A Rosary for Mrs. Quartararo will be recited at 6:00
p.m., Monday, December 14, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with a
gathering of family and friends to follow.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday,
December 15, 2015 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2715 Calder Avenue, Beaumont,
with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
