Melvin Douglas "Doug" Cole, 56, of Hardin, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015. He was born on June 13, 1959, to Carol Smith Cole and Melvin Theodore Cole, in Ashtabula, Ohio. His passions included hunting, farming, his wife, and his Harley. Melvin worked as a crane operator for Ranger Conveying.

Survivors include his wife, Michele Cole; daughters, Ashley Ann Cole and Brittany Renee Cole; son, Brandon Clemons; nineteen grandchildren; parents; Carol and Melvin Cole; and sisters, Cindy Stevenson of North Kingsville, Ohio and Sandee Pedro of Jefferson, Ohio.

A gathering of Mr. Cole’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m. with his memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
