William “Moose” Lloyd Minter, Jr., 62, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on October 25, 1953, to Lucille Creel Minter and William Lloyd Minter, Sr., in Petal, Mississippi, and was a United States Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Minter; stepchildren, Jimmy Taunton and his wife, Liz; Michael Berryhill and his wife, Linh; Eddie Berryhill; Judy Barnard and her husband, Kenneth; and Timothy Berryhill; and Bryan Berryhill and his wife, Misty, all of Beaumont; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Sanford and her husband, Rodney; Gail Mitchell and her husband, Kenny; Kimberly Lowry and her husband, Chris; and Stephanie Harvison and her husband, Jimmy, all of Mississippi; brother, Steven Minter and his wife, Melia; and stepsisters, Robbie Patterson and Patsie Homsack.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
