Ruby Danzy LeNormand, 87, of Beaumont died Tuesday, November 17, 2015.  She was born on December 10, 1927 to Vida Mae Morrison Thompson and John W. Thompson. 

She is survived by her grandsons, Daryn Echart and his wife, Lynn and Marc Daniel Echart; and several nieces and nephews.

Ruby is preceded in death by her children, W.O. “Butch” Danzy, Jr., Daryl Danzy, and Dana Danzy Echart; husbands, W.O. Danzy and Charlie LeNormand; brother, Garland Thompson; and sister, Jewel Thompson West. 

A gathering of Mrs. LeNormand’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., in the Guild Room, with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21, 2015, at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 4090 Delaware, Beaumont.  Her internment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
