Erma Jewel Byrd Fregia, 83, of Saratoga, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015.  She was born on October 28, 1932, in Saratoga, to Lillie Guynes Byrd and Marvin L. Byrd. 

Survivors include her children, Barrye Fregia and his wife, Tracy, of Round Rock and Dana Fregia of Alvin; siblings, Everett Byrd and his wife, Lorine, and Myrt Hudson and her husband, Frank, all of Vidor; and sister-in-law, Brenda Byrd of Bullard.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, J.P. Byrd and Jerry Byrd; and sister, Dona Bryant.

 A gathering of Mrs. Fregia’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze, with her interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
