Brent Ethan Bailey, 50, of Kountze, died Sunday, November 15, 2015, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont.  He was born on December 28, 1964, in Nederland, to Cynthia "Put" Cuccia Bailey and Billy M. Bailey.  Brent was employed as a welder instructor.

Survivors include his mother, Cynthia "Put" Bailey of Kountze; daughter, Brooke Elizabeth Bailey of Massachusetts; brother, Biff Bailey of Lumberton; and numerous other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Bailey.

A gathering of Mr. Bailey's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2015, at Broussard's, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Infant Jesus Catholic Church,  243 South LHS Drive, Lumberton, with his interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Silsbee.
