Raymond Joseph Stout, 89, of Beaumont, died Sunday, November 15, 2015, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of this area, he was born on May 30, 1926, to Annie Stansbury Stout and Rudolph Joseph Stout. Raymond was a United States Navy veteran having served in World War II. He retired from 7 UP Bottling Company after thirty-seven years.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-eight years, Shirley Stout; son, Rodney Stout of Houston and Randy Stout and his wife, Darla, of Orange; daughter, Sharon Stout of Beaumont; grandson, Ryan Stout and his wife, Lisa, of Houston; great-grandchildren, Slade Stout and Skylar Stout; brother, R.J. Stout of Beaumont; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Elaine Meneffee, Ramona Budd, and Dorothy Hardin.

A memorial service for Mr. Stout will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were held through Broussard’s Crematorium.
