Dr. Louis Henry Knabeschuh 
January 31, 1926 - November 14, 2015

Dr. Louis Henry Knabeschuh, 89, of Beaumont, died Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Harbor Hospice of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on January 31, 1926, to Louise Sanning Knabeschuh and Henry Louis Knabeschuh, in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Knabeschuh retired as a research chemist for Dupont. He liked to sing and was a member of The Harmony Exporters for fifty-three years, and he liked play golf. Dr. Knabeschuh cherished the time he spent with his kids and grandchildren. He was a loving father that took care of his family.

 

Survivors include his wife, Anna Mae Knabeschuh; children, Susan Knabeschuh of Beaumont; Donald Knabeschuh and his wife, Becky, of Houston; Linda Moncla and Joan Knabeschuh, both of Beaumont; Janet Chase and her husband, Ben, of Lewisville; and Louis Knabeschuh, Jr. and his wife, Shannon, of Bryan; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dennis Knabeschuh; and sister, Dorothy Misback.

 

A memorial service for Dr. Knabeschuh will begin at 2:00 p.m., with a reception to follow, Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
