Clara Belle Henry, 84, of Fannett, died Sunday, November 8, 2015.  She was born on November 11, 1930, in Iowa, Louisiana, to Clara Broussard Derouen and Olis Derouen.

Survivors include her sons, David Henry and his wife, Elgene, of Victoria; Isaac Henry, Jr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Fannett; Bob Henry and his wife, Elizabeth, of Magnolia; daughter, Liz Buffington and her husband, Mike, of Lumberton; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; brother, James “Buddy” Derouen, of Fannett; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Isaac Thomas Henry, Sr.; granddaughter, Anita; and sisters, Cora Hendrix and Earlene Ferguson.

A gathering of Mrs. Henry’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with her Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer, Winnie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 12, 2015, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 9894 Gilbert Road, Fannett, with her interment to follow at Burrell Cemetery, LaBelle.
