Annabell Pike Messick 
October 6, 1920 - November 2, 2015

Annabell Pike Messick, 95, of Denton, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015, in Denton. She was born October 6, 1920, in Austin, to Joe and Mattie Pike. She married Joe Messick on February 8, 1941.

Prior to moving to Denton ten years ago, she was a fifty year resident of Beaumont and a charter member of Woodland Baptist Church.

 

Annabell and Joe had been married fifty-six years before he passed away in February of 1997.

 

She is survived by daughters, Vickie Messick Burr of Denton; JoAnn Studdert and her husband, Ron, of Denton; granddaughters, Kim Ring and her husband, Doug, of Carrollton; Noel Hill and her husband, Chris, of Denton; great-grandchildren, Claire Ring; Ashley Ring, both of Carrollton; and Curran Hill of Denton; niece, Jo Jung of Spokane, Washington; and extended family George and Kathy Ring of Sanger.

 

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

 

Annabell was a loving, caring person and will be missed dearly by all of those lives she touched.
