James C. “Jimmy” Wilson, 76, of Beaumont, died Saturday, October 17, 2015, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born on July 13, 1939, to Henrietta Fruge Wilson and Glenn Alvin Wilson. Jimmy was a graduate of South Park High School where he played football and ran track. He retired as Quality Control Manager for BASF and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing.

Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Flo Wilson; sons, Troy Wilson and his wife, Jamie and Layne Wilson and his wife, Julie, both of Beaumont; grandchildren, Sarah Wilson and Caroline Wilson; brother, Glenn A. “Buddy” Wilson of Vidor; and nephew, Devin Wilson of Groesbeck.

A gathering of Mr. Wilson’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
