Richard Broussard, Sr., 68, of Groves, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015. He was born on May 5, 1947, in Kaplan, Louisiana, to Frances Marian Faulk and Lawless J. Broussard.

Richard was a United States Navy veteran. He retired from DuPont as an operator after thirty-seven years of service.

He is survived by his sons, Ricky Broussard of Port Neches and Chad Broussard of Groves; grandchildren, Kacey Broussard; sister, Debbie Doyle and her husband, Bo, of Groves; brothers, Bruce Broussard of Nederland and Brian Broussard,  Weldon Broussard, and Todd Broussard, all of Groves.

A private family committal for Mr. Broussard will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
