Maegan June Axelrod Jones 
May 30, 1993 - October 2, 2015

Maegan June Axelrod Jones was born May 30, 1993, in Mexico City, Mexico to her father, Shmuel Binyamin Axelrod Jones (deceased) and mother, Allyson June Axelrod Jones. She passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015.

 

Maegan is survived by her mother, her twin brother, Mylan; sisters, April and Christa; brother, Christopher. She is also survived by her fiancé, Cliff Kuether and his family, Bob, Edith, Erik, Michael and Paula.

 

Maegan was compassionate, full of life, and a bundle of joy! Her bright spirit touched others with her giving and loving heart. She touched others with her generous and vibrant love toward life and HaShem. Maegan grew up in Mexico, Belize, and United States where she embraced and demonstrated an attitude of unselfishness and unconditional service through charity and humanitarian outreach to the needy. 

 

Her outlook of life was filled with beauty of singing, photographing, and swimming. She had a natural creativity for interior design, decorating and fashion. She grew in knowledge educationally and spiritually through her years of Jewish schooling and learning nurtured by spiritual teachers and leaders. Megz had a passion for researching and reading. 

 

From a young age she was traveling to local and international destinations which attracted her desire for people’s culture and historic significance. Once she found truth she never wavered away from her faith in HaShem.  

 

She loved to make others laugh and had a beautiful smile that brightened every room. She loved traveling with her fiancé and caring for her dogs.

 

Family was her greatest joy, which she also shared later with her fiancé, Cliff. He shared, “Maegan was the most fulfilling and complimentary person in my life. She is irreplaceable in my heart; she was my everything. She completed me”. 

 

As life goes on may we cherish all the beautiful memories that we have of Maegan until we meet in the resurrection.

 

A funeral service for Maegan will begin at 6:00 p.m. with her gathering to follow until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. She will be buried in the country of Belize.
