Michael “Mikey” Richards, 58, of Vidor, died Sunday, September 27, 2015.  He was born on March 15, 1957, in El Paso, to Jo A. Richards and James Richards.

He is survived by his wife, Shelia Richards, of Vidor; son, Jonathan Richards and his wife, Marie, of Austin; father, J.D. Richards and his wife, Jo, of Nederland; brother, Hank Richards and his wife, Gail, of Aubrey; and nephews, Rusty Richards, Jace Richards, Cody Heflin, Tyler Heflin, and Justin Heflin.

A gathering of Mr. Richards’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.  His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 2, 2015, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, Vidor.
