Olga Wengren Summers, 90, of Beaumont, died Sunday, September 20, 2015. She was born on January 17, 1925, to Irene and Lucas Wengren in Cleveland, Ohio.

After high school, Olga worked for White Motors for two years then joined the United States Army Air Force in 1945. She was stationed at Biggo Field Air Force Base in El Paso when she met and married Robert J. Summers. From that union, they had two daughters, Linda K. Dixon and Constance Lee Davis. Olga was a volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital for almost ten years from which she got a lot of satisfaction.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Dixon of Beaumont and Connie Davis of The Woodlands; grandchildren, Kathy Sutton and her husband, Joe, of The Woodlands; Robert Woodrow and his wife, Anya, of Bensheim, Germany; Stephanie Thompson of Lufkin; Chris Davis and his wife, Tiffany, of Magnolia; and Regina Pellegrin and her husband, James, of Beaumont; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of Ms. Summers’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
