Andrew C. Hluska 87, of Beaumont, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. A native of Dunmore, Pennsylvania, resident of Rome, New York, for thirty-four years, he had been a resident of Beaumont since 1991. Andrew was retired from the Rome Developmental Center.

He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. Andrew was always there for his family, friends, and neighbors, willing to help them in any way. He will be deeply missed for all that loved him.

Andrew is survived by his daughter, Brenda Joyce Patterson of Buda; grandchildren, Colleen Burnett and her husband, Jason, of San Marcos and Eric Patterson and his wife, Kim, of Round Rock; great-grandchildren, Justin Burnett, Rylie Burnett, and Henry Patterson; and nephew, Paul Hluska of Utica, New York.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Michael Hluska; wife, Edith Hluska, who passed in October of 2007; two sisters; and three brothers.

A funeral service for Mr. Hluska will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, with his interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
