David Earl Luquette, 63, of Beaumont, died Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on February 13, 1952 to Katherine Ryan Luquette and David Lee Luquette, in Beaumont.  David was generous and one of a kind person who loved to be around his family. He enjoyed NASCAR, being outside, and was passionate about helping others.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Luquette; children, Christy Lynn Morrison and her husband, Garry, of Nederland; Cory Allen Luquette and his wife, April; Jon Gilbert Silcox; and Brooke Nicole Luquette, all of Beaumont; father, David Luquette and his wife, Mavis; brothers, Jay Luquette of Alvin; Doug Luquette and his wife, Loretta, of Austin; Tommy Luquette of Kirbyville; and Keith Luquette and his wife, Cynthia, of Beaumont; sister, Kathy Breaux and her husband, Randy, of Lumberton; and five grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Luquette.

A gathering of Mr. Luquette’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont. A reception for family and friends will follow his service at Voth Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 11245 Church Road, Beaumont, Texas 77713.
