Louise Crow Malik 
December 24, 1924 - August 23, 2015

Louise Crow Malik, 90, of Galveston, died Sunday, August 23, 2015, at Bayou Pines Care Center, LaMarque. She was born on December 24, 1924, in Beaumont, to Mary Hope Fullbright Crow and Raymond Dee Crow.

Louise attended Beaumont High School, where she graduated in 1942. In her senior year, she won a state competition as a talented pianist. She loved to play classical music. Louise completed one year at Lamar University & played the piano for the men's choir there. She was also a member of the DAR for 50 years.

Survivors include her sons, Frank G. Malik, Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Hamilton, Montana; and John W. Malik and his wife, Karen, of Nassau Bay; grandchildren, Jason H. Malik and his wife, Stacy; Shannon LaBauve and his wife, Jennifer; Tanya Hudkins and her husband, Mike; and Mary Busack and her husband, Randy; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Louise is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Frank Gustov Malik, Sr.; one sister; and two brothers.

A gathering of Mrs. Malik’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
