Doris Frances Knupple, 92, of Beaumont, died Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. She was born on April 21, 1923, to Hallie Inez Davis and George John Corrigan, in Beaumont.  Doris was a generous, nurturing and kind-hearted Southern Lady. She was a devoted wife and mother, always had a smile on her face, was very outgoing and made everyone feel at home. She enjoyed taking care of her family, cooking and shopping.  

Survivors include her son, George E. Knupple of Abilene; grandson, Kyle E. Knupple and his wife, Michaela, of Beaumont; great-grandchildren, Kate Knupple and Maximus Knupple; and sister, Molly Wells and her husband, Howard, of Pinewood.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Everette Knupple; and one sister, Nelda Hicks.

A gathering of Mrs. Knupple’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.
