Vincie Daleo, 102, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Summer Place Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was born on November 20, 1912, to Mary Oddo Daleo and Joseph Daleo. She retired as a clerk from the family business, Daleo’s Grocery. 

Survivors include her brother, Sam Daleo and his wife, Frances, and sister, Rosalie Talamantez, both of Beaumont; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and thirteen brothers and sisters.

A gathering of Miss Daleo’s family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a Christian Vigil to follow at 5:00 p.m., Friday, August 21, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015, at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Summer Place for their care and compassion they showed Vincie during her time there.
