Jayden Paul King, infant son of Jayland O’Neal King and Chelsie Renee Menard, died Wednesday, August 12, 2015.

Other than his parents, Jayden is survived by his brother, Braylon Menard, of Port Arthur; grandparents, Charlene King, of Port Arthur, Peggy Menard, of Lumberton, and Benjamin Menard, Sr. and his wife, Nikki, of Winnie; great-grandparents; Edmond King, Sr. and his wife, Jinnie; Glenn Menard, Sr. and his wife, Carolyn; and Thelma Goff and her husband, Ray, all of Winnie; godparents, Adam Trent, of Winnie and Jazmin Jimenez, of Weatherford; Pamela and Michael Chavis, Jr., of Beaumont; great-great-grandmother, Anna Jones, of Winnie; uncles, Leslie “Jester” Vigers and Benjamin Menard, Jr., both of Winnie; and Cody Menard, of Lumberton; aunts, Victoria Menard, of Winnie and Kourtlyn Menard, of Baytown; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by great-grandmother, Lois Marie Jones; great-great-aunt, Trudy Jones-Simien; and great-great-grandfather, Dossman Jones.

A gathering of Jayden’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
