Doris Choate, 74, of Wildwood, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont.  She was born on November 22, 1940, in Corsicana, to Violet Peacock Carrington and Tom Carrington.  Doris was a retired beautician.

Survivors include her sons, Thomas Earl Choate, Jr. and his wife, Christie, of Pasadena; Gregory Lamonte Choate and his wife, Aubyn and Christopher Shawn Choate, all of Wildwood; and Charles Edward Choate and his wife, Tammy, of Port Neches; grandchildren, Aaron Choate, Nathan Parigi, Troy Choate, Krystal Choate, Brandon Choate, Ty Choate, Molly Choate, Jordon Choate, Joshua Choate, Ashley Choate, Zachary Choate, Devon Choate, and Dillon Choate; great-grandchildren, Ethan Choate, Cole Choate, Derek Choate, and Donovan Parigi; and brothers, Bill and Paul Carrington.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Earl Choate, Sr.; son, David Craig Choate; brother, Joe Carrington; and sister, Becky Robertson. 

A gathering of Mrs. Choate’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 3, 2015, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
