Lenny Boone, 69, of Beaumont, died Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on February 22, 1946, to Mildred Inez Napier and William Leonard Boone, Sr., in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lenny was a loving, funny, and kind man. He enjoyed his work, going to church, watching sports, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Laura Boone of Beaumont; Tim Simon and his wife, Celeste, of San Antonio; and Tom Simon and his wife, Bhavani, of Beaumont; nine grandchildren; and brothers, Larry Boone and his wife, Connie; Sam Boone; and Dan Boone, all of Houston.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol Boone; and son, David Edmond Boone.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Boone will begin at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Calvary Baptist Church in Building 2, Rooms 218-220, 3650 Dowlen Road, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
