Bobby “Beetle” Bailey, 80, of Nederland died Tuesday, June 30, 2015. He was born on December 27, 1934, in Govalle, to Lillias Ruth Oldham and Joe Weldon Bailey.

Bobby was a Texas Air National Guard veteran. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Port Arthur. Bobby enjoyed plants, flowers, and cooking. He will be remembered as a very accommodating man that loved people.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy Bailey of forty-four years; daughters, Cindy and her husband, Richard and Andrea and her husband, Bill; grandchildren, Crystal, Tyler, and Levi and his wife, Krystel; and great-grandson, Ryan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, David Bailey.

A gathering of Mr. Bailey’s family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 3, 2015, at Broussard’s. A private family committal will be held at a later date at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
