Maurice “Joe” Vickery, 64, of Kountze, died Thursday, June 25, 2015.  He was born on October 31, 1950, in Beaumont, to Zula and Irving Maurice Vickery.  Maurice served in the United States Army and later retired as a narcotic officer. 

Survivors include his wife, Pat Vickery; sons, Chris Vickery and his wife, Kim of Silsbee, and Mark Vickery and his wife, Michele, of Colorado; stepchildren, Deborah Walker and her husband, Wayne, of Vidor; Mike Laird and his wife, Jill, of Kountze; and Terri Neuville and her husband, Terry, of Baton Rouge; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Delores Bares and her husband, Johnny, of Beaumont.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Vickery’s committal was handled by Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
