Loretta Singleton Wright, 85, of Kingwood, passed away peacefully at her home, Tuesday, June 16, 2015.  She was born on April 30, 1930, in Beaumont, to Jeanne Engerran and Jack L. Himel.

Loretta enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with family. She was an avid reader and could not wait to join her friends in water aerobics, card games, and church fellowship.

She will be missed by her siblings, Marion Truell, Carolyn McGown, Carroll and Alberta Himel, Blanchie Himel, Garland and Ann Himel; cousins, Dan and Jan Engerran; along with many special nieces and nephews. She is survived by her children, Ralph Singleton, Lynda Steward, Renee and Mark Crosby, Roxanne Louviere, and Ro Singleton. Her Grand blessings - Wendy and Chad Rives, Chris Steward, Jason and Risa Crosby, Ben and Nikki Steward, Justin and Jenna Crosby and Chad Louviere will miss their Greta. Great Grandchildren Fallon, Quinn, Colton, Brooklyn, Carson, Cash, Brenna, Kate and Case will carry on her love.

Loretta is preceded in death by her son, Ronnie and husband, John Wright.

Faith, Family and Friends were most important in Loretta's life and her message to all would be to value and cherish life's greatest gifts. Sincere thanks to the wonderful neighbors, friends, helpers and caregivers that surrounded Loretta with comfort and laughter.

A gathering of Mrs. Wright’s family and friends will began at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.  Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
