Tracy Luanne Sellars, 48, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, Houston. She was born on March 14, 1967, in Manhattan, New York, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. Tracy was a United States Air Force veteran having served in the Iraqi War and was a pipeline inspector.

She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, puzzles, and building doll homes. Tracy was a lifetime American Legion Member in North Carolina; and she was the first female American Legion Commander in Walldorf, Germany.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin E. Thompson, of Beaumont; and brother, Geoffrey F. Miller and his wife, Taeko Yoneyama, of Houston.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of Mrs. Sellars’ family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 21, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 22, 2015, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Beaumont.
