Patsy Sue Manuel, 79, of Beaumont, died Monday, June 8, 2015, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on March 6, 1936, in Sugartown, Louisiana, to Mildred Seaman and Henry Garlington, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont.

Patsy is survived by her daughters, Debbie Garza and her husband, George, of Vidor; Karen Singletary and her husband, James, of Garland; and Lisa Manuel, of Beaumont; son, Terry Hamilton and his wife, Coleen, of Hutchinson, Kansas; sister, Betty Hust, of Beaumont; brother, H.E. Garlington, Jr., of Grant, Louisiana; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Manuel; sister, Faye Cooley; and parents.

A gathering of Mrs. Manuel’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m., Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Broussard’s, with her graveside service to follow at 3:00 p.m., at Sugartown Cemetery, Highway 113, Sugartown, Louisiana.
