Dan Bailey, 69, of Beaumont, died Sunday, June 7, 2015. He was born on April 29, 1946, in Andrews, Texas, to Hester Marie Murray and Herbert Leon Bailey, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. Dan was a member of Beaumont Elk’s Lodge #311, and held the title of Past Exalted Ruler.

He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Beverly Bailey; daughters, Danielle Pomirko and her husband, Jim, of Sour Lake and Michelle Jackson and her husband, Adam, of Lumberton; and grandchildren, Brayden Pomirko, Collin Pomirko, Kyndal Pomirko, Brock Jackson, and Karsyn Jackson.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Bailey.

A gathering of Mr. Bailey’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Immediately following the gathering there will be a celebration of Dan’s life from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at Beaumont Elk’s Lodge, 11431 Highway 90, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Beaumont.
