Travis Lee Russell, 28, of Vidor, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015.  He was born on March 31, 1987, in Jasper, to Barbara VanSlyke Russell and John David Russell, Sr.  Travis was a 2005 High School graduate of Buna High School and worked at BE Resources in Silsbee.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Russell; children, Ely Nathaniel Russell, Travis Michael Russell, and Stephanie Russell, all of Vidor; parents, brother, John David Russell, Jr. and his wife, Melissa, of Vidor; nephew, Shane Russell and niece, Destiny Michelle Russell, both of Vidor; and father-in-law, George Park of Vidor.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Yvonne and Gordon Russell and Theda and Earl VanSlyke; aunts and uncles; and nieces and nephews.
