Beverly Williamson, 78, of Kountze, died Sunday, May 31, 2015.  She was born on October 18, 1936, in Dumas, Arkansas, to Emma Smallwood.  Mrs. Williamson was retired from Gulf States Utilities/Entergy.

Survivors include her daughter, Leigh Ann Lawrence and her husband, Eric, of Kountze; grandchildren, Mark Maher and his wife, Andrea, and Matthew Maher, all of Sour Lake; and Michelle Maher of Kountze; along with Joshua and Joel Lawrence of Houston; great-grandchildren, Hannah Maher and Elijah Lawrence; sister, Betty Perdue and her husband, Bill, and nieces, Tina Perdue and Lisa Perdue, all of Iowa, Louisiana.  She is preceded in death by her mother; brother, Waylon “Jack” Smallwood; and nephew, Gary Perdue.

Mrs. Williamson’s graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Daniels Cemetery, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s, Kountze.
