Margaret Ray, 94, of Beaumont, died Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on April 5, 1921, to Amy Griffin Ingersoll and Percy Ingersoll, in Sour Lake.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Burrell and her husband, Eugene, of Fannett and Brenda King and her husband, Charles, of Beaumont; son, Carey Ray and his wife, Joni, of Fannett; daughter-in-law, Vickie Ray of Denver, Colorado; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband of seventy one years, Stanley Ray; one son, Leland Ray; granddaughter, Kayla Raye King; and sisters, Louise Terry, Lela Mitchell, and Lillian Ingersoll.

A gathering of Mrs. Ray’s family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake.
