Lucille LaCombe, 87, of Vidor, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at The Clairmont, in Beaumont. She was born on September 19, 1927, in Rayne, Louisiana, to Claudia Lelux and Edmond Simon, and had been a resident of the area since 1939.                                       

Lucille is survived by her daughters, Deborah Sklenarik and her husband, Lawrence; and Marcusella Jagneaux; sons, Darrell LaCombe and his wife, Lisa; Darius LaCombe, Sr, and his wife, Doreen; son-in-law, Guy Proctor; grandchildren, Melissa Mabry and her husband, Lance; Kyle Proctor and his wife, Amber; Chaselon Sklenark and his wife, Sylvia; Rebecah Sklenarik; Justin Jagneaux; Trace Jagneaux; Duane Proctor and his wife, Jennifer; Pete Proctor and his wife, Cindy; Audie Proctor and his wife, Julie; Shelia O’Rear and her husband, Brian; James LaCombe, Jr. and his wife, Karen;  Billy Darrell LaCombe and his wife, Margaret; Jamie LaCombe and his wife, Yenny; Nathaniel Bailey; Joshua Davison and his wife, Lanna; Christopher LaCombe; Jeremy LaCombe; Kylee McDaniel; Darius LaCombe, Jr. and his wife, Chelsea; Darlene Mauboules and her husband, Wayne; Daneene Hebb and her husband, Buck; great-grandchildren, Kierstyn Martinez, Matthew Martinez, Peyton Gagliano, Tyson Gagliano, Christian Mabry, Blake Mabry, Ty Proctor, Elizabeth Proctor, Jacob Sklenarik, Brittany Proctor and her husband, Josh; Brandon Proctor, Brennan Proctor, Kenzi Proctor, Khyli Proctor, Breaden Proctor, Ted Davant and his wife, Heather; Jennifer Davant, Bryce Proctor, Westin Proctor, Scott O’Rear, Luke O’Rear, Allison O’Rear, Andrew O’Rear, Kayla LaCombe, Thomas LaCombe, Luna LaCombe, Beau LaCombe, Bryce LaCombe, Jasmine LaCombe, Crystal LaCombe, Alexia LaCombe, Laurie Wilson, Natalie Smith, Danielle Sikes, Taylor Baxter, Lakon Smith, Aiden LaCombe and Neriah Mauboles; great-great-grandchildren, Raelyn Rivera, Emeriee and Easton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Peter U. LaCombe; daughter, Claudia Proctor; and sons, James LaCombe, Sr., Marcus LaCombe, and Peter LaCombe, Jr.

A gathering of Mrs. LaCombe’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
