Michael Lynn Duhon, 61, of Hankamer, died Thursday, May 21, 2015. He was born on December 17, 1953, in Anahuac, to Gloria Magee Duhon and Willie Miller Duhon, Jr.

Michael loved any kind of music. He enjoyed classic country and rock music, and was a talented bass and acoustic guitar player.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Duhon, of Hankamer; son, Robert Clint Allen, of Vandalia, Missouri; daughter, April Lee Randi and her husband, Bruce, of Cove; grandchildren, Eli, Lola and Lyla Allen, and Raylee Randi; brothers, Darrell Duhon and his wife, René, of Louisiana and Glen Duhon, of Winnie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sharon.

A gathering of Mr. Duhon’s family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Hankamer Community Fellowship, 2844 FM 1663, Hankamer.  His graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m., at Barrow Cemetery, 706 Barrow Cemetery Road, Hankamer, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.

In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Michael and his daughter, April, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, #4 Bayou Brandt, Suite B, Beaumont, Texas 77706.
