Charles Earle “Charlie” Moore, Sr., 68, of Kountze, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont.  He was born August 19, 1946, in Beaumont.  Charlie was a United States Air Force Veteran having served in Vietnam and had worked at Britton Cravens.

Survivors include his children, Angela Moore of Fred and Chad Moore and his wife, Amanda of Kountze; step-children, Debra Felps of Michigan and Jimmy Felps of Village Mills; grandchildren, Briana Doggett, Savannah Dogget, Charles Moore III “Trey”, Joni Williams, Ashley Felps, Heath Felps, and Raven Felps; and aunt, Joyce Lewis of Kountze.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ina Rae Langston.

A gathering of Mr. Moore’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  His interment will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
