Margie Jerlene Rainer, 81, of Lumberton, died Sunday, May 10, 2015, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on March 17, 1934, in San
Augustine County, to Ethel Vestal Coleman and Tomey Dolan Coleman.
Survivors include her children,
Reverend Kenneth Rainer and his wife, Peggy, of Arvada,
Colorado; Joy K. Tate and her husband, Joe; and
Geraldine Tate and her husband, Grady, all of Lumberton; grandchildren, Stacy
Carlton and her husband, Ed; Bridget Walston; Matt Tate and his wife, Brittany,
all of Lumberton; Jeff Tate and his wife, Ruth, of Lufkin; Jarod Tate and his
wife, Jennifer, of Lumberton; DeAnn Martinez and her husband, Eric; Ty Rainer;
Damon Rainer; and Caleb Rainer and his wife, Traci, all of Colorado;
great-grandchildren, Madison Carlton, Hunter Walston, McKinley Tate, Emilie
Tate, Jenna Tate, Gracie Tate, William Tate, Taylor Tate, Bradley Martinez,
Bentley Martinez, and Claire Rainer; brothers, Paul Coleman and his wife, Mary
Ann, of Beaumont; Vurnis Coleman and his wife, Judi, of Kirbyville; and Ray
Coleman and his wife, Melinda, of Kountze.
She is preceded in death by her
parents; husband, Harold C. Rainer; and brother, Hubert Coleman.
A gathering of Mrs. Rainer’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13,
2015, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery
Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 11:00
a.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Leatherwood Cemetery,
Lumberton.
