Billie Jean Leach, 82, of Lumberton, died Friday,
May 2, 2015. She was born on November 1,
1932, in Silsbee, to Ruby Mae Blume Anderson and Thomas Houston Anderson,
Sr.
Billie was a loving wife to
Marvin Leach for sixty-two years. She
dedicated her life to taking care of her family. Billie was a loving, caring mother and
Maw-Maw that gave of herself to ensure her children and grandchildren were
happy and successful.
Survivors include her husband,
Marvin Leach; children, Michael Leach and his wife, Paula, of Lumberton and Carolyn L. Bondy and her
husband, Stephen, of Houston; grandchildren, Christy Duran and her husband,
Mark and Scott Leach and his wife, Lindsay, all of Lumberton;
great-grandchildren, Christlynn Duran, Koda Duran, Ryder Leach, and Rayburn
Leach; sisters and brother, Betty Ruth Vassar, Lucretia Huddleston, Emery
Anderson, Patsy Ann Thomas, and Brenda Gagliano; and numerous nieces and
nephews. She is preceded in death by her
parents; and siblings, Tommie Mae Anderson, Faye Means, Edna Mae Latino, Thomas
Anderson, Jr., Lizzie Latino, and J.P. Anderson.
A gathering of Mrs. Leach’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 4, 2015,
at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road,
Silsbee. Her funeral service will be
10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow
at Magnolia Cemetery,
Beaumont.
