Carolyn Boden, 83, of Nederland, died Saturday, April 18, 2015. A native and lifelong resident of the area, she was born on March 28, 1932, in Port Arthur, to Mattie Lee Poole and Ernest Brown.

Carolyn was a United States Air Force veteran. She enjoyed her home and raising her family. On issues she felt were important, she was very out spoken.

Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Cole and her husband, Charles, of Port Arthur and Toshia Robustelli and her husband, Gerry, of Nederland; son, Donald Jerald Boden, Jr. of Nederland; grandchildren, Jamie Reynolds, Alan Cole, Chelsea Stansbury, CPL Michael Robustelli, and Evan Boden; and sisters, Mary Agnus Foreman and Diana Lynn Breaux.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Gene Brown.

A private family committal for Ms. Boden will be held at a later date at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
