Paul R. Ware
November 8, 1963 - April 8, 2015

Paul Ross Ware, 51, of Nederland, finished his mission on earth on April 8, 2015. This included ministering to hundreds of people as an L.P.C., or Licensed Professional Counselor. He graduated from Nederland High School in 1982, and later graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1987, with a B.A. degree in Psychology. In 1991, he received his Master’s degree in Counseling from S. F. A. in Nacogdoches. Later he attended the Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth.

Paul lived in Huntsville for ten years working as an Academic Advisor for Lee College with the prison system. Most recently he was employed at MHMR in Beaumont as an L.P.C.

Paul was a born again Christian. Although he was plagued by addiction, he never lost faith that God loved and cared for him, as did his family. His wittiness, charm, and compassion for people won him many friends.

As a child he traveled with his family all over the United States and Mexico. At age 15, he and his dad drove to Alaska. He got his driver’s license after he got back.

Many happy times were spent camping with the family at Dam B. and Garner State Park.

Paul joined his father, James R. Ware, in heaven. Cherishing his memory are his mother, Dorothy Ware; sisters, Kathy Marksmeier and her husband, Jerry, of Tomball, Texas; Susan Breitenberg and her husband, Norman, of White Oak, Texas; and Phyllis Mosley and her husband, James, of Nederland; and six nieces and nephews, Wesley Breitenberg and his wife, Tracy; Emily Watson and her husband, Jared; Andy Breitenberg; Micah Mosley and his wife, Bonnie; Rebecca Mosley; and Rachel Mosley.

A gathering of Paul’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his funeral service to follow at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2015, at First Baptist Church, 1911 Nederland Avenue, Nederland. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.

Memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s memory to Salvation Army, 3145 25th Street, Port Arthur, Texas 77642.
